Oct 10, 2009 #1. Bruce fox New Member Joined: Oct 10, 2009. I have a Ansley H. Fox shotgun that is a 12 ga side by side with the serial number of 32623. That number is located behind the trigger gaurd. The gun has been shot very few times and in in really great shape. I think it is a 1925 model. In 1930, Savage bought out the Fox Co., and the Model B is the only shotgun that is still in production under the name 'Fox'. There are a number of versions of the Model B. The Model B has 2 triggers, and the Model B-ST has a gold-plated non-selective single trigger and beaver-tail fore-end.
